If the Abrahamic God gave us free will and wanted us to use that to see past the devil and to put our faith in him, why would he obscure himself? Why would our faith in him be based on a book written by men that is itself contradictory, conflicted, inconsistent, immoral, and scientifically inaccurate? If he truly wanted us to be happy, live forever, or go to heaven then would he not reveal himself to everybody and then let them use their free will from there? I believe it was Christopher Hitchens who said something along the lines of it not making any sense that god would want us to have faith based on bad evidence.
Written by Men
3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 8 For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man. 9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. – 1 Corinthians 11:3, 8-9
11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. – 1 Timothy 2:11-14

Acts 26:23 says Jesus is “the first that should rise from the dead” but in 2 Kings 4:32-37 a child is resurrected and in John 11:38-44 Jesus resurrected Lazarus.
Proverbs 26:4 directly contradicts the very next sentence at verse 5. 4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. 5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
1 John 3:6-7 says that anybody “that doeth righteousness is righteous” but at Romans 3:10 it says “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”
Exodus 21:20-21 says it’s ok to kill your slaves if it takes them a day or two to die because they are your “money”. Strangely it’s only not ok if they die right away. “20 And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished. 21 Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.”
God has repeatedly killed and condoned the murder of many children. Exodus 12:29, Deuteronomy 2:33-34, Deuteronomy 3:6, 1 Samuel 15:3
Leviticus 25:44 condones slavery.
Proverbs 6:6-8 says that ants work on their own when in fact they are part of a close knit colony.
Both 1 Kings 7:23-26 and 2 Chronicles 4:2-5 give measurements on a circle that would make the mathematical constant of Pi equal to exactly 3 when in fact it is 3.1415926535…
Ecclesiastes 1:5 talks about the sun moving around the earth and the influence of which is evident in our language today by our use of “sunrise” and “sunset”
